Unlike some other High Friction materials, Rocbinda is a cold applied material meaning no specialist equipment is needed to install. In colder weather a catalyst can be added to speed up the curing time meaning Rocbinda can be laid all year round. Rocbinda is available in a variety of different pack sizes.
16kg combined weight – ideal for larger works. Our largest pack size available has an approximate spread rate of 10m² on a close graded bitumen surface. Porous / textured surfaces will reduce the spread rates achieved.
8kg combined weight – ideal for smaller / intricate areas where more time is needed to lay the resin. Our 8kg pack size has an approximate spread rate of 5m² on a close graded bitumen surface. Porous / textured surfaces will reduce the spread rates achieved.
Rocbinda DIY packs – Our DIY packs come with aggregate and application tools included. Available with either buff, grey, red, green or black aggregate, these packs are ideal for small areas especially suited for re-instatement works. A DIY pack contains enough resin and aggregate to cover an approximate area of 1m². Porous / textured surfaces will reduce the spread rates achieved.
